Tufenkian White Blend 23

The Tufenkian Heritage White Blend '23 is a field blend of indigenous Armenian Voskehat, Khatoun Kharji, Spitak Areni, and Chilar grapes. These varieties are co-fermented from 70-100 year old, own-rooted vines in the Aghavnadzor village. 

 

Our grapes are grown in the Khamer and Sakhkzlkh vineyards, both high-elevation sites (1350m and 1500m asl respectively) with volcanic soils. Grapes are manually harvested in early October, ensuring freshness and good acidity. Yields are 42 hl/ha.

 

Cultivated with respect to the environment without use of pesticides and herbicides.
