Tufenkian Resilience Chiva White 22

This Voskehat, Khatoun Kharji, and Spitak Areni field blend comes from our Chiva vineyard, embodying the resilience of its 70-year-old vines. Planted in the mid-1970s and abandoned for years, these vines were revived by our project and now produce wines of exceptional character.

 

The vineyard, located at 1250m asl in Chiva, Vayots Dzor, features certified organic and biodynamically farmed vines on volcanic soil, a mixture of sand and limestone. Grapes are manually harvested in mid-September at full aromatic and physiological maturity, resulting in super low yields of 5 hl/ha.
