The Tufenkian Heritage Khachik is the extraordinary product of 100 year old, ownrooted and sustainably and eco-friendly farmed Areni vines growing at a remarkable 1600 meters altitude on limestone and clay soils.
The ultra-high elevation assures cool evenings which preserve acidity, and a longer growing season, making this wine particularly age-worthy.
The grapes are foot-crushed and naturally fermented whole-cluster, bottled unfiltered and unfined, to maximize the expression of their extremely unique terroir.
